Add a Mailchimp Signup Form to Your Website

You may want to embed a variety of widgets, buttons, and other pieces or snippets of code into your ArtSites website. To do this, you'll first need to copy the code from the other website or source. Once you have the copied code, you can embed it into your ArtSites website. Here's how...

Embed Code from Another Website

  1. Go to the page, gallery, or image where you want to insert the code
(For galleries or images, you may need to click on the 'Edit' icon: Edit icon)
  2. You will see our standard 'Content' text editing box. Depending on where you are, it may be called 'XYZ Content' or 'Description' or 'Additional Text', if you are working with an image or gallery.
(Please note that 'Additional Text' is not displayed in some layouts.)
  3. Click inside the 'Content' text editing box and put your mouse cursor where you want to insert the code.
  4. Click on the 'Embed Code' icon: Embed icon (red circle below in the second line of icons)
Embed Code Icon in Content Editor Ribbon
  5. You will get the 'Embed Dialog' box (see below)
    Embed Dialog Box
  6. Click in the text box area (it will be highlighted in blue)
  7. Now, you can either right-click with your mouse and select 'Paste' or use Ctrl+V (PC) or Command ⌘+V (Mac) to paste the code.
  8. Click 'Ok'
  9. Your code will now be embedded.
(Please note that you may not see it explicitly in the Content Editor.)
  10. Be sure to click the 'Update' button to save your changes!

Now, go and look at the page, gallery or image where you embedded the code to make sure everything is working properly.
