Our annual Spring Show with the ASSC Looking forward to seeing you there

The Don Valley Art Club Annual Spring Awards Show begins on Wednesday, April 17 at the Riverdale Hub Gallery, at 1326 Gerrard Street East in Toronto. I have a painting hanging in the gallery, and three more in the on-line part of the show. I will be at the show opening and reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, and would love to see you if you can come for a purely social occasion.

Three of my newest abstracts (including my largest yet) are in this beautiful show at Gallery 1710 in Tsawwassen, BC. The art show and sale runs from Nov 24-Dec17. Gallery open Friday-Sunday from 12-4!

I have two paintings in the upcoming Bloom exhibit at the new Goldfinch road gallery run by Arts and Culture Colwood. Open Wed through Fri 10 to 3 and Saturday noon to 4 (plus Mother's Day).

I have had one painting accepted into this juried exhibit at the ArtPod Gallery in Metchosin. They are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.

Fibre Arts Exhibition

I will have a variety of my larger alcohol ink paintings on the main floor for the Art Enrichment Display.

I have a selection of artistically created giftware in this little hidden gem of a gift gallery…stained glass, art dolls, small paintings, wood burned pictures, and so on.

Artist in Residence at L'Aromas Bakehouse and Coffee Roastery from March 2022 to current. I have over 25 pieces of art decorating the walls of the large and beautiful space of L'Aromas. Be sure to venture into the billiards room to see more abstract art on display.

I was honored with an invitation to display my Scratchboard Art at the Butchart Gardens in Victoria British Columbia.

Judith is interested in the potential for interactions between Art and Science. She and partner Mike enthusiastically support the endeavors of the Perimeter Institute, Waterloo, Ontario. Eight of Judith's paintings have been accepted into the Perimeter Institute's art collection and installed in various venues within the Perimeter.

Calling all Westman Region Artists ages Eleven (11) to One Hundred Eleven (111)! This is your call for entries to the 45th Annual Westman Region Juried Art Show being held 28 April in Kenton, MB. There are 3 categories - Youth (ages 11-13), Youth (ages 14-19) and Adult (age 20+). Transport of artworks from Brandon to Kenton can be provided. The Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society spring members show will be on at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, BC on the last weekend in April, 2024. 10 to 6 on Saturday April 27 and 10 to 4 on Sunday April 28. Admission for non-members is $10. Space permitting I will have two watercolours on exhibit at the show.

Arts West Council and Hamiota Mid-West Art Club present the 45th Annual Westman Region Juried Art Show and Travelling Gallery. Doors Open 1:30 pm, Show ends at 3:30 pm.

The Etobicoke Art Group in partnership with Studio M, are pleased to present a retrospective exhibition of the work of celebrated artist, beloved educator and mentor, John Leonard (RCA). For more than 50 years he has shared his knowledge with countless artists, offering deeper insight into drawing and painting techniques.
Students, colleagues, and friends from far and wide, are delighted to celebrate a retrospective of the sensational John Leonard on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

A selection of my Art Dolls will be on display in the Glenrose Rehab Center, they are in the glass cases near the cafeteria on the basement level. 50% is donated to the Camrose Womens Shelter and another 20% is donated to the Glenrose. Be inspired!

A selection of pieces from The Chorus - Morse Code Wavings, What Once Was: The Apocalypse Is Now, and Still Fighting - Morse Code War Belts.

This is going to be a fun and supportive two-day workshop focusing on helping participating artists better understand perspective using Nancie’s methods and learning to "simplify" compositions involving man-made structures. As part of an art/cultural exchange La Canada’s Sister City organization is sending art to exhibit in Villanueva de la Cañada, Spain during their San Ysidro festival, 10 days in May 2024. This is a great honor to be invited to send artwork. My artwork was chosen to show some California’s coastal subject matter.

The Kitty Coleman Annual Art and Bloom is one of our favourite attractions, bringing together a spectacular 24-acre venue, dozens of talented artists working in many genres and a panorama of colour and visual delight courtesy of the 3,500 rhododendrons that grace the site

Steve Rose, is a distinguished graduate of OCAD U, with a major in drawing and painting, and holds an MFA from the University of Windsor. He boasts a rich tapestry of experiences as an artist and educator. With an extensive exhibition history, his artistic journey has taken him far and wide, showcasing his talent to audiences around the globe.

Art in the Park Beach Festival

This two day arts and craft market takes place in the gardens surrounding the tennis courts at the Parksville Community Park. Paintings, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, photography, art cards, children’s clothing, art glass and much more will be available to purchase.

I am honoured to present a painting based on my assigned writer partner, Monica Davis's written work. I will be curating the artwork for the festival. ANNOUNCING: The next West Fine Art Show is set for August 29, 30, and 31, 2024.

The show will be staged in the stunning Cascades Ballroom at Coast Langley City Hotel & Convention Centre, located adjacent to Cascades Casino.

The show will feature 25 exceptional artists. John Gilliat will be performing on guitar during the show.

This show is in partnership with Langley Hospice Society and hosted by Coast Langley City Hotel & Convention Centre.
