The Adams Mine project proposed to transform a vast, abandoned pit into a destination for thousands of tons of urban waste
Today, a quarter century later, we return to this story not as history alone, but as a mirror.
Local residents, farmers, environmentalists, and ordinary citizens came together in an act of resistance.
This exhibition invites reflection — on land, on memory, and on the quiet courage of those who chose to say no.

I will be having a solo show in the Alcove in the NOA Gallery. This is called Window Shopping!

Having this show to showcase all the old windows that were destined to be destroyed. I wanted to portray the thought of looking through one of these windows to see what is on the other side. What is my view?

The old windows are sourced from across Alberta and brought to the studio, where each one is carefully stripped, sanded, and sometimes torched to reveal its unique character. The glass is removed, cleaned or replaced, then treated with resin on the back or embellished with alcohol ink. Finally, the front is painted with acrylics.

Ozymandias, an 87' knitted meditation on power, tyranny, hubris, the rise and fall of empires and states, and the lasting legacy of art, will be installed in the window of the CCBC on Granville Island for the month of April.

For the 17th time, Arts and Culture Colwood (formerly Coast Collective) presents their Spring show of all things floral. I've got an unusual one in the show this year!

South Okanagan Artists will display their recent works of art. Partial proceeds go to the Penticton Art Gallery fund raiser. Join us at a special afternoon MEET THE ARTISTS event on April 11, 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Appies by Karen's Creations.

South Okanagan Artists will be presenting their works Critters on the Course that inhabit the Penticton Golf Course. Join us for Meet the Artists event on April 24th - 3 - 6 pm with appies and a cash bar.

Currently on display at art show “Everything is Fine” at the Colony Theatre in Burbank located at 555 N. 3rd St. For sale at that location all art for sale on this website is original art.

The colony theater art show is put on by California Creative Arts.

A selection of my Art Dolls will be on display in the Glenrose Rehab Center, they are in the glass cases near the cafeteria on the basement level. 20% of each sale is donated to the Glenrose Foundation. Be inspired!

Artist in Residence at L'Aromas Bakehouse and Coffee Roastery from March 2022 to current. I have over 25 pieces of art decorating the walls of the large and beautiful space of L'Aromas. Be sure to venture into the billiards room to see more abstract art on display.

Judith is interested in the potential for interactions between Art and Science. She and partner Mike enthusiastically support the endeavors of the Perimeter Institute, Waterloo, Ontario. Eight of Judith's paintings have been accepted into the Perimeter Institute's art collection and installed in various venues within the Perimeter.

I will be featuring watercolour paintings and alcohol inks, both BIG and small. Also, I have arts and crafts upstairs in the Gift Gallery.

The Manotick Inspirations Art Show and Sale every year is well attended and hosts over 40 experienced high quality artists and has a superb Friday, April 21st evening Vernissage 6pm - 9pm. The show continues on Saturday and Sunday, 10 - 4 p.m. Part of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Ottawa Mission. Check out the website for the live music schedule.

Join us for this very special workshop, “Great Faces in Pastel”, with award-winning artist Luana Luconi Winner, IAPS-MC, PSA, Founding member and current president of Portrait Society of America. Known as a professional portrait artist, author, lecturer, judge, and favored instructor, Luana was educated in Rome and Florence, Italy, Switzerland, and the USA. Her portraits of CEOs, Banking Founders, Chancellors, Administrators, Government Officials, Military Officers, Debutantes, and families hang in corporations, universities, government buildings, museums (as the Museè du Pastel in France), and residences stateside and abroad.

This workshop is also open to non-members, so feel free to invite an art friend! If a non-member joins PSSC and pays 2026 dues of $40, then they become eligible for the $295 member price right away.

This five-day art camp is held at the Riding Mountain Conference Centre (Camp Wannukumbac) at scenic Clear Lake, Manitoba, Canada. It provides participants with an opportunity to concentrate on developing their artistic skills and goals beyond the introductory level, under the supervision of experienced professional instructors. I’m so happy to return to Southlands for their spring art show this year with over 25 artists in the big red barn in Southlands, Tsawwassen. This is an in person show where I will have original art, prints and cards on hand. What a great way to start spring! Please come out and say hi between 10am and 3pm. Award-winning scratchboard artist Sharon Lennox is scheduled to host a live demonstration at The Butchart Gardens on June 6 and 7, 2026 from 11:00AM to 4:00PM. The event will take place in the garden's gallery as part of her season-long display of work.
